[shot of Ash adjusting a terminal. He waves to them outside. We see what the
camera mounted on the suits' helmets show on the screens]

[shot outside. They walk away]
Lambert : I can't see a goddamn thing!
Dallas  : I see. [to Ash] You see everything?

[Up with Ash. We hear some voices over the radio.]
Ash     : Good contact on my board.

[outside, Dallas]
Dallas  : We're free, keep the line open. Let's go.

[outside, a lot of wind]

[down in the engine room. There's a lot of steam coming from some pipes making
a terrible hissing sound which makes talking hard.]
Parker  : Ripley! Hey Ripley! I wanna ask you a question! If they find what
they're looking out there, does that mean we get full shares?
Ripley  : Don't worry, Parker, yeah. You'll get whatever's coming to you.
Brett   : Well, look! I'm not going to do any work until we get this
straightened out.
Ripley  : Brett, you're garantied by law to get a share.
Parker  : What?
Ripley  : Why don't you just fuck off?
Parker  : What?
Brett   : Wh- Whatta you say, Rip?
Ripley  : If you have any trouble, I'll be on the bridge.
Parker  : Don't worry about it, baby... Hey Ripley, come back here!
[Ripley walks away. When she's away, Parker pulls a lever and the steaming
stops. Everything is silent. Parker and Brett laugh.]
Parker  : Son of a bitch...
Brett   : What's the matter?
[Parker pulls the lever the other way. The steaming goes on again.]

[outside we see Kane, Lambert and Dallas walk]
Lambert : I can't see a goddamn thing.
Kane    : Quit griping!
Lambert : I like griping.
Dallas  : Come on, knock it off!
[they walk on]

[Ash still follows them. Ripley joins him]
Ripley  : How's it going?
Ash     : Oh- allright!
Ripley  : Have you tried bringing that message through E.C.I.U.?
Ash     : Mother hasn't identified it, yet.
Ripley  : You mind if I give it a shot?
Ash     : Please do.
[Ripley sits down behind a terminal and types something. It starts to scroll
data patterns. We hear some kind of acoustic sound for a short moment.]

[outside we see the three walk in a quieter part of the area. There is
something huge to be seen]
Dallas  : Ash, can you see this?

[in the ship, Ash sees what they see through a camera]
Ash     : Yes, I can. I've never seen anything like it.

[outside]
Dallas  : It's very bizarre...
Ash     : [through radio] Whatta you see?

[inside with Ash]
Dallas  : [through radio] Allright, we're moving to second position.
Lambert : What is it? [somewhat frightened] Let's get out of here...
Kane    : We've gone this far, we must go on! We have to go on!

[inside with Ash. There seems to be interference with the camera and sound
signals]
Ash     : Would you say that again? Shit...
Dallas  : [through radio] Ash, as you can see, there is a- [voice falls away]
Ash     : I'm going back to the councel.
[Ash moves away from his position, and goes to another panel]

[outside we see the derelict ship. It has got a huge 'U' shape, and the two
extentions are high above the ground.]

[inside Ash tries to get the signals clean. It doesn't work]
Ash     : Dallas!...

[outside we see the three go inside the hole in the 'U' shape. They find some
kind of entrances, large holes in the ship's outside]
[They climb up and go in. They enter a hallway which does not seem to be made,
but grown. There are rib-like walls and odd looking textures.]
Kane    : Come on down here! There's something different down here...
I don't kow what it is, but if we could get up that wall, if we
could get up that wall we could go on there.
[They climb up, and stand on a huge circle of about fifteen metres radius,
with in the middle some kind of creature. It has a huge device in front of
it's head sticking upward. The chair it sits in seems to be part of the
creature. It's dead.]
Kane    : Amazing...
Dallas  : Alien lifeform. Looks like it's been dead a long time. Fossilised...
Looks like it's grown out of the chair...
[they climb up to the creature and watch it's "face"]
Dallas  : Bones are bend outward... Like it exploded from the inside...
Lambert : I wonder what happened to the rest of the crew...
Let's get the hell out of here!
